Poetry is usually concerned with feelings and vivid description . Poems may tell a story reflect on some thing of importance to the poet . The purpose of a poem is to present a description or point of view , usually with thought – provoking image .

Poem can be written in many different ways and have a variety of  features. Some poems use regular patterns of rhyme,rhythm and line length,while others use free verse form. Poems can include alliteration,assonance,onomatopoeia,personification,similes,and methapors. The creation of imagery is always important.

Grammatical feature of a poem

A wide variety of grammatical patterns are used in poetry. Common feature include :

• nouns to identify specific object,events or things
• adjectives to create better description
• similes and methaphors to build images.
  

When I was 5 grade of elementary school , I could be a champion of math and science competition . What did I feel? I felt very happy . Before I joined competition, I had to study hard and with strong determination , so because that I could be champion , I joined many competition like math and science competition , little doctor , and achievement student competition , Except I had to study hard , I had to remember to pray to Allah SWT , Because If didn’t pray , maybe I couldn’t be champion .

Now, I will be able to be a champion again, but just be a champion for my self, but I must be champion as a kind person, be religious person. Would you learn about how to make my self be religious person? If you will be a religious person, maybe I can tell you about that. The way is you must always remember and believe god / Allah every time and every do activities. I will do it for my life . In this experience, I think it’s very interesting in my life. I can be a student of SMPN 2 Purwokerto because that experience . Every time I remember that experience I always feel strong determination.
